PsycheSonics
PsycheSonics is a project experimenting with synchronization of group consciousness through the use of audio and visual brainwave entrainment and sonic vibrational texturing. Using specific beat frequencies, tones and lighting we create an atmosphere of sound healing and consciousness exploration.
This presentation will focus on the science behind audio-visual brainwave synchronization, the use of technology in exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness, and the measurable effects of intention on the physical world. We will also be covering the short and long-term effects of brainwave synchronization on health, lucid dreaming, concentration, perception and magic.
Jael Topek and Isaac Marcum started PsycheSonics in 2006 as an experiment in hacking consciousness and synchronized dreaming. Louisa McCuskey, creator of the Sonosphere, joined the team in 2008 and together they operate and deploy awareness expanding technology around the Northwest. Kevin Dickey is a light and sound alchemist who's contributed to the Proteus machine and has developed a photic stimulation light cannon.
