"Shakti has been creating art on her own from a young age. She enjoys working on both a small and large scale and with a variety of media from the written word, beading, crafting, painting, sculpting, sketching and in being a Divine muse for others in their creative process. She also enjoys to channel recipes and living foods for special friends and has also taught classes in the living food arts privately and publicly and is published in The Raw Food Bible, where some of her creations can be found. In addition, Shakti has worked extensively with children in a variety of settings between the East and West coasts and with children through adulthood and is well versed in working with people with special needs. She worked as an art director at two kids camps; one on the east coast and more recently on the Peninsula before her son was born.She received her undergrad in Art Ed Foundations at UMASS Amherst and also worked in the Theater Studies Department there; designing the layouts for box office design. She also enjoys being in nature, dancing, being silly with her son, singing and doing her U-jai breathing practice.

The following activities provide a frame work for expression and Shakti encourages adults to embellish their inner artistic meanderings by participating freely and by offering their support and vision to the whole of us"
