ABOUT DORIAN VISIONHEART DYER
My art speaks for itself, and as in most art, it is the power of the visual impact that gives it life and meaning.
I have had waking sober visions of a parallel life as a native american healer shaman in the Rocky Mountains who's name translates into "Visionheart", sitting befor a fire in my medicine lodge with many bundles of herbs and power objects.
I am self taught as an artist, having no formal western education since high school, I found it easiest to play and experiment with soft and oil pastels and colored pencils . I now work in acrylics on canvas. It usually takes me several months to several years to make a painting. It took 12 years to create "Joy Embraces All". I have so many ideas and inspirations that there really needs to be 5 of me to create it all. I sense as many of us do that we are being offered opportunities to see more clearly and deeply into the nature of ourselves and our connection with everything, indeed that we are everthing we see and experience, that veils are being lifted, that many blessing await us as well as challenges in this time of planetary crisis.
